The thought did cross my mind that folk
looking up the garden,
might be tempted to think we'd
won the lottery and installed a
I peered and peered...
where were they?
All I could see was the reflection of
my silhouette in the water.
My tadpoles seem to have got very shy;
are they quietly sitting on the bottom absorbing their tails
as their front legs appear?
Not previously having had the pleasure of watching tadpoles
grow... I've really no idea?
Even last night I went up after dark to see if they were flying
up to the surface for air, as they had been on previous nights.
I wonder where they've gone? Perhaps they grew legs and high-tailed it over to Mr OW's posh drain for a froggie rave.

At the very beginning of our tadpole season I took my camera to take pix, and all I found were HUGE footprints just beneath the water.
