A BLOOMING bodice-ripping success...

My first thought as I selected some photographs to show you was...
what a buzzy, busy day.

My second thought was...
wish I'd thought to get WSD to take pictures of each stall before we let everyone in.

This just gives you the flavour of a truly memorable day

Happy faces

Open purses

Real skills from talented folk

Lots of money made for Hospice in the Weald...
from all refreshments and home-made cakes

The very best of British crafts

lovingly made..

What more could you ask for?

Be sure to come along to our next
Kitsch and Stitch Vintage & Makers' Fair
on
Saturday 3rd September

I'll write more personal thoughts on the day when I recover my
composure...

I know I put it down somewhere?

  2. Hello, made my way here via Viv's blog! How very stupid of me to miss your fair, as a Wealden lass it really is most foolish. I hadn't even realised it was on! Is the next one in Cranbrook too?
Strangely I have just dropped off two boxes of books to Hospice in The Weald!
    Nice to meet you,

  4. It was a super fair, that both I and my 14 year old daughter really enjoyed.

Thank you for dropping by my blog and leaving a couple of comments, it was lovely to see you'd visited.

  6. Buy anything? I was too blooming busy taking money to BUY anything! And like you Wend I nearly sold out by the end of the day. Just today, sorting out next lot of treasures for the 3rd September. Now I know why I hoard - so years down the line I can give others the pleasure of owning the things that have given me joy over the years. What goes round, comes round and all that jazz. LLX
